Return to Wellwood Home Page June 12 - June 21: Rough Seas Delay Restoration June 12 - 21, 2002 Continued rough seas, with up to 7 foot swells, have again caused delays on the project. Weather and sea conditions were only favorable on Sunday, June 16, however, problems with the barge mooring points precluded any restoration work on site that day. The mooring points have been reestablished and the project team is on standby and hopeful for more favorable weather. In the interim, boat repairs, various maintenance work, and other preparation activities continue. (top)
