July 17
Weather was on our side today. The concrete for site 6A was poured and one module was secured in place. Concrete for 5A and 3A were poured and completed this morning in preparation for placing the modules in the next couple of days.
July 18
The crew spent time off site obtaining additional construction materials.
July 19
Everybody worked hard through the day. More than seven cubic yards of concrete were poured. Site 14A was completed with the placement of one module. One of the two layers of concrete necessary for site 20A was poured. Two modules were set into site 16A and one module was set into site 8A. With all of this work, the crew ran out of concrete.
July 20
In the morning the crew offloaded supplies (including concrete!) from the UESI supply barge. The afternoon was spent completing site 8A, with the placement of one module, and cleaning debris from site 20A.
July 21
After a long 13 hours of work, the project was completed at 7 p.m. today! The crew placed two modules in site 16A, four modules in site 20A, and poured 15 cubic yards of concrete and dressed the modules with limestone.
