Northeast Fisheries Science Center: Mission Infographic
The mission of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center is to understand and predict changes to marine ecosystems and their subsystems affecting living marine resources, fisheries, habitats, ecosystem condition, productivity, aquaculture, and the generation of net national benefits. For about one penny per American per month, the center can study and monitor about 100 fish, shellfish, marine mammal, and sea turtle stocks.
