Gray’s Reef Ocean Discovery Center
Located in downtown Savannah, Georgia, the Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary Ocean Discovery Center features interactive exhibits for you to explore the wonders of Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary. Visitors can learn about the live-bottom habitats teeming with ocean life, take virtual dives, and learn their personal role in protecting one of our nation's remarkable underwater treasures.

Physical and Mobility Assistance

- All exhibit areas and special event theater are wheelchair friendly
- Both restrooms are wheelchair accessible, one bathroom is designated as wheelchair friendly
- Front door equipped with automatic door opener to allow for ease of entrance
- There are no stairs or ramps as it is only one floor

- While there is no designated parking lot for the Ocean Discovery Center, there is free street parking around the area, including one handicap spot located on West Charlton, approximately 20 feet from the ODC
Service Animals
Service animals are welcome at the Ocean Discovery Center, in accordance with ADA guidelines. Service animals are defined as animals that are individually trained or educated to perform tasks or do work for a person with a disability.
Sight and Hearing Impaired Assistance
All videos within the exhibits are captioned.
Sensory Friendly Assistance
The Ocean Discovery Center is a Kulture City Certified Sensory Inclusive space. All staff and volunteers at the Ocean Discovery Center have completed sensory inclusive training. Sensory bags are available for rent in the space, and low-sensory areas are marked accordingly.
