We've invited you to Get Into Your Sanctuary and share your stories and experiences with us. We thought it would be a great idea for us to share how staff across the National Marine Sanctuary System are getting into their sanctuaries, working hard to protect these special places. Summer is field season, so let's take a tour across the National Marine Sanctuary System in this interactive map showcasing some of the work happening on a summer day in national marine sanctuaries. From tagging shearwaters in Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, to participating in the Pride Paddle at Mallows Bay-Potomac River National Marine Sanctuary, and even attending a Sanctuary Advisory Council meeting in Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuary - there sure is a lot happening all across the country!
