Airport Pool (after bleaching)

Airport Pool, as it looks after the bleaching event of 2015 had subsided. The staghorn coral population in this area suffered massive mortalities during the 2015 bleaching event. Dead coral skeletons overgrown by turf algae (not the symbiotic algae mentioned in image 2) can be seen throughout the pool. (Image 3 of 3-part series)
