City of Alpena

A diver photographs the propeller of tugboat City of Alpena, which burned to the waterline in 1890. The tugboat had a long history working in northeastern Michigan harbors. It now rests in 17 feet of water near the southern boundary of Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary.
