Defiance stern

View of the wreck of the schooner Defiance from the rear of the ship looking forward. Resting on the bottom of Lake Huron at 185 feet deep, one of the ship's masts still stands upright. Defiance sank in 1854 after being run into by another ship, John J. Audubon, which also sank a few miles away.
